- These security grilles are manufactured to a high standard to greatly increase the protection of your home / business
- They are made from 20mm box section vertical bars, 30mm x 8mm solid bar and 30mmx 30mm angle as a minimum for the horizontals.
- The grille will be fitted with solid steel INTEGRAL hinges with padlock facility. (single padlock facility as standard).
- Padlock facility provided by welded steel tabs (2 x 10mm tabs)
- Special design locking area helps to conceal a square shutter style padlock from bolt croppers to aid in better security (opening in padlock min. 20mm to fit over tabs).
- 16mm masonry drill bit needed to fit anti-theft bolts (not supplied - available at any diy store)
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR REQUIRED SIZE
Simple steps to measure for your grille - SEE SKETCH IN PICTURES
A - OPENING WIDTH BETWEEN THE BRICKWORK
STEP 1
MEASURE A - (WIDTH) IN MILLIMETRES
STEP 2
WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR WIDTH ADD 150MM+ (75MM per side) TO THE WIDTH TO PROVIDE SECURE FIXING IN TO SOLID BRICK.
STEP 3
PICK THE CLOSEST LARGER SIZED GRILLE WIDTH OR IF YOU NEED A GRILLE TO FIT INTO A RECESS/REVEAL PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR REVEAL/RECESS SIZE ITEM
THE HEIGHT STATED WILL BE THE HEIGHT OF THE GATE AND THE TOTAL SIZE WILL BE +85MM OVER THE FIXING TABS (EG. A 2000MM GRILLE WILL HAVE A TOTAL HEIGHT OF 2085MM (see size charts below)
