Door Security Grille/Gate

This is suitable for providing very high security to your Home/Work

Above is the high security gate that is designed and manufactured by us this is provided with padlock tabs for use with padlock (padlock not included)


Description

• These security grilles are manufactured to a high standard to greatly increase the protection of your home / business 
• They are made from 20mm box section vertical bars, 30mm x 8mm solid bar and 30mmx 30mm angle as a minimum for the horizontals.
• With concealed pre-drilled fixing holes on 40mm x 40mm steel angle sections provided for secure wall fixing (fixings not included but can be bought in our security fixings section).
• The grille will be fitted with solid steel hinges with padlock facility. (single padlock facility as standard).
• Padlock facility provided by welded steel tabs
• Angles will be supplied pre-drilled for easy DIY fitting (fitting time approx 20-30mins)
• Grille will be painted in black etch primer

THE GRILLE CAN HAVE THE PADLOCK FACILITY ON THE LEFT OR RIGHT HAND SIDE PICTURE ABOVE IS FOR A LEFT HAND PADLOCKED GRILLE WHEN OPENING TOWARDS YOU


Positioning of the grille will fit to the outside face of the brickwork (see above)


REMOVABLE VERSION
THIS MEANS THAT ONCE THE PADLOCK HAS BEEN REMOVED AND THE GRILLE IS MOVED INTO THE OPEN POSITION IT CAN BE LIFTED OFF AND STORED AWAY UNTIL NEEDED OR LEFT IN THE OPEN POSITION ATTACHED.

NON-REMOVABLE VERSION
THE GRILLE CANNOT BE LIFTED OFF IN THE OPEN POSITION IT IS ALWAYS ATTACHED TO THE FRAME

SIZES

• Grille will be made to a height of 2000mm (2m)
• Width can be chosen from 1000mm, 1100mm or 1200mm (size is the total width over the angles and the fixing holes will be approx 40mm less, so if you buy a 1100mm grille the distance between the fixing holes will be 1060mm)

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR REQUIRED SIZE

A - OPENING WIDTH BETWEEN THE BRICKWORK


STEP 1
MEASURE A - (WIDTH)

STEP 2
WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR WIDTH ADD 200MM (100MM per side) TO THE WIDTH TO PROVIDE SECURE FIXING IN TO SOLID BRICK. THEN PICK THE CLOSEST LARGER SIZE OPTION
eg. if your opening is 950mm you would then add 200mm which makes 1150mm so you would pick the 1200mm grille).

STEP 3
WE WILL THEN MAKE YOUR ITEM TO THE SET 2000MM HEIGHT
AND WILL MAKE YOUR WIDTH TO THE SIZE YOU PICK
