We have a steep step at the front door to the house and out mums struggle with it when they visit. So I wanted a grab handle they they could lean on and support weight, but still look elegant at the front of the house. I think it's great, it took a bit of experimenting with different drill bits to get the hole right, but it is now solidly fixed in place. It was sent fairly promptly and think it was a decent price. It is the most tightly wrapped parcel I've received in a while, but appreciate how much care went into its safe passage across Sheffield! We're happy customers!
This is just what I was looking for as I live
in a Georgian terrace house and wanted a handrail
that was in character.
The handrail was for my parents who were keen to avoid anything plastic or otherwise too utilitarian. It is perfect for their needs offering solid support but with an attractive design - it looks great in situ by the entrance door of their Victorian house.
