Set-Sized Bespoke Wrought Iron Style Handrail


This is a heavy solid steel handrail with flared ornamental scrolled ends with 2 newel posts, the handrail has a curved top to it for added style. Each handrail will be manufactured to your length and angle as selected and be provided in black etch primer.


Details

  • The handrail has 2 vertical newel posts made with 25mm square solid bar (option for twists in posts), the posts will be 1200mm giving you height adjustment depending on how far you cement the post into the ground (recommended 900mm above and 300mm into the ground.
  • The handrail is 50mm x 14mm with a curve for comfort, they have decorative scrolled ends.
  • Decorative architrave will be provided to cover where the posts are fixed into the ground.



Sizes
This listing is for a handrail to a size and angle chosen at the top of the listing
The handrail will be approx 400mm longer than the selected width between the post centres. 

e.g. if you order a 1000mm (1m) diagonal distance between the posts 'A' on the sketch, the overall length of the handrail will be approx 1400mm

Width between post centres
This is the diagonal distance between the points on the floor and at the angle you choose where you intend to fix the posts. This will provide you with the distance between the post centres required (please ask for any help).

Angle
This is the angle that the handrail will slope

Posts
The posts will be 1200mm tall (recommend 900mm above and 300mm below ground into concrete)

Rail
Width of handrail 50mm

Help with sizing
Simply hold a tape measure diagonally at the angle you need between the 2 positions that the post will be fixed into the ground (Either 'A' on the sketch), this will provide the distance between the post centres required (please ask for any help)

Please note:- To aid with transportation and fitting we place a temporary support bar between the 2 posts, this keeps the 2 posts spaced the correct distance. This bar can be twisted off with a spanner or wrench (please ask if you need any advice).
